- On the night of March 30, an self-induced detonation of ammunition occured in the Russian city of Belgorod.
Although at first the media reported about the strike from the Ukrainian side — both Russian ones and some bloggers from Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially reported on Wednesday that the detonation occurred as a result of neglecting safety rules and violating transportation requirements.
At the same time, the General Staff recalled the threat of self-detonation of Russian ammunition near the Chernobyl NPP and urged the invaders to immediately withdraw their troops from the Chernobyl zone.
- On March 30, IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi paid a working visit to the South-Ukraine NPP. The main issue was to ensure nuclear and radiation safety at the Zaporizhzhia and Chernobyl NPPs seized by the invaders, the press service of Energoatom reported.
"IAEA’s on-site presence will help prevent the danger of a nuclear accident," Grossi tweeted.
Commenting on the possibility of liberating Zaporizhzhia and Chernobyl NPPs from the invaders, he stressed:
"Of course, we hope that the moment of the cease-fire is already close. And we, as an international organization and the nuclear industry, will constantly monitor the situation. We consider it critical, this is not business as normal, and we will do everything necessary to bring the moment of safety closer."

- In Kyiv, the Pivdennyi (Southern) Bridge is partially opened for public transport from March 30.
Buses No. 22 from Medova Street to Trostianetska Street and No. 91 from Anna Akhmatova Street to the Holosiivska metro station will run across the bridge, the Kyiv City State Administration reported. The Kyiv authorities also called on bicycle and electric scooter rental services to resume work in the capital.
