In 2025, Andrii Matiukha together with Favbet Foundation is implementing programmes that combine the development of children's sports with basic safety training. Key areas include first aid training and the opening of free sports sections.
First Aid Trainings: A New Standard in Sports
With the support of the international organization FAST, the foundation launched a series of training sessions for coaches and young athletes. The programme covers basic actions required in critical situations:
- cardiopulmonary resuscitation;
- bleeding control;
- response algorithms for heart attacks and strokes.
Between January and February, 10 training sessions were held, attended by 212 representatives from the sports sector. Andrii Matiukha and Favbet Foundation plan to reach over 1,600 more people by the end of the year.

"Superheroes Club": free sports sections for children in Kyiv
One of the key focus areas of the Favbet Foundation is the charitable initiative "Superheroes Club", implemented as part of the Favbet Kids program run by the Foundation.
The training sessions take place in Kyiv-based sports programs created specifically for internally displaced children and children of military personnel, with consideration for their psychological and physical needs during wartime. Matiukha Andrii Valeriiovych in Favbet Foundation sees sports as a tool for supporting resilience and socialization.

As part of the children's sports support programme, Favbet Foundation held a “Winter Spartakiad” in cooperation with the SpartaBox sports club.
Winter Spartakiad: an example of active participation
As part of the children's sports support programme, Favbet Foundation held a "Winter Spartakiad" in cooperation with the SpartaBox sports club. Children aged 6 to 14 took part. The event had a clearly defined structure and included several formats of physical activity.
Participants were involved in the following activities:
- "Wrestling for the Belt" tournament — endurance and technique competition in pair wrestling conditions;
- "Wrestling Basketball" game — a combination of a play-based approach and elements of physical interaction;
- physical exercises — routines aimed at developing strength, coordination, and endurance.
The aim of the event was not only to provide physical activity but also to create conditions for socialization among participants. Such events held by Andrii Matiukha Favbet Foundation are aimed at building resilience during martial law and supporting interaction and adaptation skills in group settings. The Spartakiad served as one of the practical tools for implementing the foundation’s goals in the sports community.

How to join the foundation’s projects
All programs implemented by the Favbet Foundation are open to new participants.
Information about current initiatives, including training schedules and section locations, is published openly. Up-to-date announcements and participation terms can be found on the foundation’s official Facebook page Favbet Foundation.
Participation requests are submitted directly through communication channels of partner clubs or educational institutions. This applies to both first aid training and activities within the "Superheroes Club".
The foundation does not impose restrictions based on social status or place of residence. Programmes are accessible to a wide audience, including families affected by martial law. This approach allows children with different levels of physical fitness and from various regions to take part.
Next steps: programme expansion in 2025
