Among the projects aimed at youth development, sports initiatives hold a significant place. Andrii Matiukha and the Favbet Foundation have been supporting programs focused on children and teenagers for several years. This includes not only infrastructure support but also the creation of a stable space for regular training and competitions.
Andrii Matiukha: support for sports events in Kyiv
In April 2025, events dedicated to World Table Tennis Day were held in the capital. The events took place at the PULSE school, initiated by the Mariupol Table Tennis Federation. The program featured masterclasses, non-traditional tennis tables, creative activities, an amateur tournament, and sports demonstrations.
The event was accompanied by training sessions with experienced athletes, including Anton Molochko and Vadym Kubov. Children from various regions participated. After the activities, the school served as a venue for national-level competitions.
The Favbet Foundation supported the organization and implementation of the event by providing essential resources. Andrii Matiukha, the president of the Foundation, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in building trust in sports among young people.
Favbet Foundation and the "Olympic Hopes" competition
On May 3, 2025, two sports events were held in Kyiv — a judo championship and the "Olympic Hopes" boxing festival. The base for the competitions was Youth Sports School No. 14. Over 200 athletes under the age of 16 took part in the events. The tournaments involved the "Gong" club, the "Kozak" sports organization, "Nika," "Toros," "SpartaBox," and the "Boiets" club.

The event format combined sports activities with encouragement of self-discipline. The tournaments were held under a slogan emphasizing the importance of internal motivation. Representatives of the sports community and local self-government participated in the event.
The Favbet Foundation, at the initiative of Andrii Matiukha, served as a partner of the event. The Foundation's support included organizational resources and prize provision for the participants.
Sports clubs under the patronage of the Favbet Foundation
The Foundation is implementing the "Stronger Together" program, which includes free clubs for children from the families of military personnel and internally displaced persons (IDPs). In Kyiv, training is held in:
- football,
- basketball,
- wrestling,
- boxing,
- combat sambo.
Children have the opportunity to train regularly under the guidance of experienced coaches. The goal of the program is to provide access to quality sports training without placing a financial burden on families.
As Andrii Matiukha emphasizes, these projects aim to create an environment where a child can develop steadily — physically, psychologically, and socially. The decision to launch the clubs became part of the Foundation’s comprehensive approach to youth support.

"Today more than ever, it is important to create a safe, motivating space for children where they can develop physically and emotionally. It is sport that cultivates character, respect, and resilience," Andrii Matiukha stressed.
Favbet Foundation and first aid training
In 2025, a new initiative began to train sports coaches, athletes, and infrastructure staff in the basics of first aid. The project is implemented by the FAST organization with the support of the Favbet Foundation. The trainings last eight hours and include both theoretical and practical parts.

As of May, more than 200 athletes have already completed the training. By the end of the year, around 1,800 more participants are expected to take part. The program is designed for those working with children or regularly involved in training processes.
Andrii Valeriiovych Matiukha notes that preparedness for emergencies is an integral part of responsible sports education. Participation in the project ensures the dissemination of essential knowledge within the professional community.
A strategy of continuous support
Under the leadership of Andrii Valeriiovych Matiukha, the Favbet Foundation adopts a model of long-term assistance. The Foundation works in partnership with educational institutions, coaches, and communities. The support focuses on infrastructure development and the creation of conditions for stable children's sports activities.
This approach allows programs to be implemented not just once, but systematically. Sports clubs are already operating in Kyiv, accessible to children from various social backgrounds. All projects are built with attention to needs, accessibility, and equal opportunities for participation.
