In May, a charity event titled "Buy a lot from the Legends of Ukrainian Sports so that orphans have a football field" took place at the Lobanovskyi Dynamo Stadium in Kyiv. The initiative aimed to raise funds for the construction of a modern football field and an inclusive children’s sports playground for the residents of the Zhytomyr orphanage.

The auction was organized by FC Dynamo, the Andrii Matiukha Charitable Foundation, the Ukrainian Journalists’ National Team, and the News Center Information Agency. Thanks to the future sports facility, not only the orphans of the mentioned institution but also about six thousand children from the Zhytomyr region will be able to engage in sports and football.
