Paid coronavirus vaccine: the Ministry of Health has proposed to postpone it until 2022

In 2021, there will be no paid coronavirus vaccine in Ukraine. The reason is the shortage of vaccines, since they are produced in small batches.

This was stated by the Chief Sanitary Doctor Viktor Lyashko on the air of the program "Breakfast with 1+1".

He also noted that this year, paid vaccination against coronavirus is not advisable. In addition, all companies that produce drugs against coronavirus cooperate only with national governments.

In particular, governments have budgeted for the purchase of the required amount of vaccines for the population. Therefore, if someone, due to a shortage of vaccines, offers to purchase them, then this can be criminalized.

Context. The Ministry of Health at the end of March claimed that Ukrainians would be able to purchase vaccines against coronavirus in the summer—autumn of 2021. Subsequently, the Head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia denied this and announced a paid vaccination against coronavirus at the end of autumn 2021.
