The national coronavirus vaccination plan may be changed so that President Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, and Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov can be publicly vaccinated.
This step will help emphasize the importance of vaccination against coronavirus, the head of the Ministry of Health said on the air of the 1 + 1 TV channel.
The recently adopted plan does not provide for vaccination of the authorities, however, in order to popularize vaccinations against coronavirus, the government is ready to change it.
It is worth noting that Zelensky has already had a coronavirus, as well as Stepanov. At the same time, WHO does not recommend vaccinating people who have already had COVID-19.
Context. In mid-February, Ukraine hopes to begin vaccination of the population against SARS-CoV-2 causing the COVID-19 disease. The national vaccination plan includes five phases.
Vaccination on a commercial basis will run in parallel with the government program.
