The government is in talks with six vaccine manufacturers having today two stages of clinical trials, undergoing a third one and registering in other countries and by WHO. This was stated by the Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

However, according to him, the Ministry of Health has signed a non-disclosure agreement with almost all of them, and that does not give the right to publicly discuss certain details.
In addition, Ukraine is a member of the global COVAX initiative, and the Ministry has already appealed to all partners about the need to supply a vaccine against coronavirus as soon as possible. According to Shmyhal, the vaccine will be in Ukraine no later than February.
It will be possible to choose from three vaccines, most likely there will be the same number of types in the first lots. In addition, they will definitely be licensed in Ukraine, approved by WHO and in other countries.
As soon as they are registered in Ukraine under the accelerated procedure, commercial enterprises will be able to import these vaccines.
