From August 5, the regulations for crossing the Ukrainian border due to the spread of the coronavirus Delta strain will change. There will be strict regulations for those who come from Russia or India, they will have to self-isolate for 14 days without the right to early termination.
In addition, both foreigners and Ukrainians will have to self-isolate for 10 days. Also, everyone needs to install the application Vdoma.
How to avoid self-isolation
In order not to self-isolate, foreigners must have an insurance policy and a document confirming full vaccination against coronavirus. Also, the following persons may not self-isolate:
- those having a document confirming the vaccination with one dose;
- citizens of Ukraine who have not reached the age of 18;
- Ukrainians who went abroad before August 4;
- with a negative test result for coronavirus, except for persons who arrived from Russia or India.
Foreigners or stateless persons when crossing the border must still present:
- insurance policy;
- negative test done no more than 72 hours before arrival or a certificate of complete vaccination.
