The thirty-third day of the Russian-Ukrainian war 2022 continues. The enemy is regrouping forces to carry out an offensive and reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
At the same time, the enemy continues to deliver missile and bomb strikes against military and civilian infrastructure, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The Russian fascist invaders continue to redeploy additional troops to Ukraine. In particular:
- they plan to send military equipment and 150 military personnel from the 155th Separate Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet.
- they have formed a subdivision of the 14th Separate Special Forces Brigade of the Eastern Military District from Khabarovsk. The readiness date for the tour of duty is May 2022.
Volyn direction
The Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus (RB) have reinforced the defense of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border with four armored personnel carriers. "We cannot completely rule out the involvement of the RB armed forces in the hostilities on the territory of Ukraine," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stresses.
Polissia direction
The enemy did not conduct active offensive actions. They continue to strike at the units of the defenders of Ukraine near the settlements of Lychanka, Petrushky, Shpytky, and Moshchun.
The enemy is regrouping troops and withdrawing certain units to the RB territory to restore combat capability.
In the Gomel region of the RB, the movement of launchers of the Iskander-M tactical ballistic missile systems in the direction of the state border with Ukraine is noted.
Siversk direction
The Russian invaders did not conduct offensive operations and continued to gain a foothold on the previously occupied lines. The invaders are regrouping, concentrating equipment in settlements and forests and, "protect themselves" from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in such a way.
The aggressor continues blockading Chernihiv, delivers strikes at civilian infrastructure facilities and reinforces the captured lines. According to reports, the enemy withdrew from the settlement of Snovsk, destroying the bridge over the Snov. Also, the Russian invaders destroyed bridges near the settlements of Konotop, Stara Rudnia, Smiach, Malyi Dyrchyn, and Velykyi Dyrchyn.
In the direction of Brovary, the occupiers tried to operate with the forces of separate units of the 90th tank division and the 2nd Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District. The enemy was stopped by the active defensive actions of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but they continue to shell the positions of our troops near the village of Lukianivka.
Slobozhanshchyna direction
The enemy is operating with the forces of individual subunits from the Western Military District. They did not conduct active hostilities near Sumy and continued to regroup troops and withdraw them to the territory of the Russian Federation for restore combat capability.
"According to available information, the morality and psychological state of the personnel is extremely low. For instance, the military personnel of the 15th motorized rifle regiment refuse to fight a war," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted.
The enemy did not conduct offensive actions in the direction of Kharkiv. They continue to blockade the city and deliver fire strikes on civilian infrastructure. They carry out activities for the logistics support of the troops.
Near Izium, the enemy operates with the forces of separate units from the 20th Combined Arms and 1st Tank Armies and the Baltic Fleet. They regroup, replenish ammunition in order to further resume the offensive against Sloviansk.
Donetsk direction
Here the most bloody battles are raging. The invaders are focusing on capturing the settlements of Popasna, Rubizhne, exits to the settlements of Vuhledar, Solodke, as well as on capturing the city of Mariupol.
The enemy carried out artillery and mortar attacks on the settlements of Toretske, Svitlodarsk, Troitske, and Pisky.
In the direction of Terna, as a result of a military clash with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy suffered losses and retreated to an area near the settlement of Makiivka.
In Rubizhne, with the support of artillery, the enemy is trying to gain a foothold in the northwestern part of the city. They suffered losses and failed.
Near the settlement of New York, Donetsk region, the enemy twice attempted assault operations, but was thrown back. They continue shelling the positions of Ukrainian defenders.
Near the settlement of Mariinka, the enemy carried out assault operations. They failed and suffered losses. In Mariupol, they continued to advance to the city center and to fire at the positions of our troops.
Near Stepnohorsk and Huliaipole, the Russian invaders carried out artillery shelling of the positions of the defense forces.
Tauride direction
The divisions of the Rosgvardiya continue to carry out filtration measures in the temporarily occupied territories in the Kherson region. Russian fascists are trying to identify the military personnel of the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine, participants in the Anti-Terrorist Operation, public activists, and also seize weapons and ammunition.
Pivdennyi Buh direction
The enemy takes measures to restore combat capability and replenish ammunition. They continue to conduct fortification. The enemy conducted an unsuccessful assault in the direction of Blahodatne settlement.
The ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet perform tasks in certain areas of the Black Sea and Azov operational zones. Certain ships have entered the closed area, probably with the aim of launching missile strikes on targets on the territory of Ukraine.
