Ukrainian intelligence is certain that the Russians won’t cease terrorizing Ukraine with missile barrages anytime soon. The next strike is expected to occur in about a week, Andrii Yusov, a spokesman for the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, believes.
The invaders need this "time-out" to prepare for another massive strike. Defense Intelligence also pointed out that the enemy is running low on precision-guided missiles and that they have many non-precision ones left in stock.
"We see that they do not particularly strive for accuracy. In many cases, a spread of a kilometer is a conditional "norm", and hitting not even infrastructure objects but civilian houses and hospitals is a sign of the ham-handedness of Russian missile operators and the regime of the Russian Federation in general," Yusov emphasized.
What regions are at the biggest risk of missile attacks?
Given that the largest stock of missiles at the disposal of the Russian occupation army is that for the S-300 systems, the most endangered cities are those close to the frontline:
- Zaporizhzhia;
- Kharkiv;
- Mykolaiv;
- Kherson.
"The country is working to protect the civil infrastructure and the civilian population, but we understand that the enemy, despite all its despicableness, is serious, armed, and numerous. As a result, unfortunately, missile terror may continue," Yusov concluded.
Context. On November 23, during another missile attack, the Russian army launched 67 cruise missiles and up to 10 Lancet attack UAVs on the territory of Ukraine. 51 missiles and five drones were shot down by the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The previous massive strike occurred on November 15. The invaders that day fired about 100 missiles.
