Missile attack on November 15: damage to the energy infrastructure

On November 15, Russia launched another large-scale missile attack on Ukrainian cities and energy infrastructure. As a result, emergency outages have been introduced all over Ukraine, Ukrenergo reported.

◾️Odesa. Power loss in a part of the city.

◾️Lutsk. Power loss in a part of the city.

◾️Chernivtsi. Power loss in a part of the city.

◾️Mykolaiv. Power loss in a part of the city.

◾️Vinnytsia Region. A critical infrastructure facility was hit.

◾️Cherkasy Region. Emergency outages introduced.

◾️Kropyvnytskyi District. Energy infrastructure facilities were hit.

Power supply was also lost in Moldova in a few populated places.

Notably, today’s Russian attack is the heaviest since the full-scale invasion.

How many missiles were fired at Ukraine on November 15?

"Around 100 missiles of types Kh-55, Kh-101, and Kalibr have already been fired at Ukraine. The launch sites are traditional. The Kh-type missiles were launched by strategic air forces from the Rostov Region and the Caspian Sea, and Kalibrs were launched from the Black Sea," Ukrainian writer Dorje Batuu (Andrii Vasyliev) wrote on Facebook.

Ukrenergo: the most difficult situation is in the northern and central regions

The attack is still ongoing, so we cannot fully estimate the scale of damage. There were hits on our infrastructure in all regions, but the most difficult situation is in the northern and central regions. Due to this, emergency outages for all categories of consumers have been introduced there. In Kyiv, special schedules of emergency outages have been introduced," Ukrenergo reported.

"85 missile strikes were launched on Ukraine, with most of them targeting critical infrastructure facilities," President Zelenskyy reported. He stated that 20 more strikes were possible.

In Lviv, mobile network operators are limiting their services

According to Lviv mayor Andrii Sadovyi, limitations on mobile communication were introduced to save the energy necessary to make calls.

A pumping station in the Vinnytsia Region lost power, while the Ternopil Region was blacked out

Due to the outage of one of Vinnytsia's water pumping stations, problems with water supply are possible. The city council is asking residents to stock up on water urgently.

Volodymyr Trush, the head of the Ternopil Regional Administration, reported that 90% of the region was without electricity.
