Procurement and supply chain professionals explained what media they read the most. For instance, Novoye Vremya got 39% of the votes, LIGA.net (Business)—31%, Mind and shared 8%. The priority is economic news and reviews. The surveys conducted by the consulting company IPSM among Ukrainian procurement specialists testify to it.
What Ukrainian purchasing agents complain about
More than half (53%) of Ukrainian purchasing agents attribute the majority of problems in their department to supply chain disruptions. The work of 13% of the specialists surveyed is complicated by a lack of suppliers (and a crisis of resources); another 13%—by inflation; 21% faced all of the above problems.

At the same time, 41% of Ukrainian purchasing agents consider the pandemic the main driving force behind negative trends last year. 13% put a special emphasis on inflation. The respondents attribute inflationary tendencies to the general rise in energy prices, the global resource crisis, and the lack of suppliers. 19% of respondents indicated instability within the country as the cause of procurement problems. And 37% voted for all options.

According to Maryna Trepova, CEO at IPSM, the most painful problem of recent months has been interruptions in payments. The suppliers strive to get advance payment from the client because in general they see high risks for themselves, moreover, they are afraid of potential non-payment, in particular, on obligations. And the prices for resources and goods today fluctuate constantly, together with the exchange rate.
