Ukraine’s National Agency on Corruption Prevention has listed the Danish Rockwool as a sponsor of war. The supplier continues to provide its products for the Russian defense industry.
The NACP posted the announcement on its website.
According to the agency, Rockwool products have been used in the construction and repair of ships of the Russian Navy: the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, the Baltic Fleet, the Northern Fleet in Murmansk, and the Pacific Fleet.
"From 2014 to 2021, Rockwool supplied insulation materials for at least 31 ships and submarines in the Russian Navy, including cruisers, destroyers, nuclear submarines, frigates, amphibious assault ships, minesweepers, and reconnaissance ships. At least 52 contracts worth more than 329 million rubles between Rockwool distributors and the Russian Ministry of Defense were identified," the NACP reports.
Earlier, the NACP added the Italian Camozzi Group to the list of international sponsors of war. The agency states that the company continues to do business in Russia and works with the Russian defense industry.
