Besides the start of serial production of the Sirko uncrewed aerial vehicle, maritime drones are also being developed in Ukraine. As an impressive result of this effort, MAGURA V5, a new Ukrainian unmanned surface vehicle, was presented at the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2023) in Turkey. It features superb technical solutions that promise to bring new capabilities to maritime security.

MAGURA V-type is an innovative multi-purpose Maritime Autonomous Guard Unmanned Robotic Apparatus developed in Ukraine. This unique vehicle can perform a variety of operations, including reconnaissance and patrol missions, search and rescue, mine countermeasures, marine protection, and combat missions. With its high-end technology and autonomous operation, MAGURA V-type can effectively function on the sea surface,increasing safety in naval operations. Its unique capabilities make it an important actor in maritime defense technology and draw attention at international exhibitions such as the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2023) in Turkey.
"The hydrodynamic body and graceful profile allow it to move covertly with excellent maneuverability. This is an affordable solution that can be easily launched from any remote location. Unmanned control minimizes the need for human resources to perform missions, reducing potential fatalities while operating in harsh environments," the developers say.
