Ukraine’s National Agency on Corruption Prevention has listed the German Knauf as an international sponsor of war. According to the agency, the company promotes mobilization in Russia, does not leave the Russian market, and has close ties to the Putin regime.
The NACP made the announcement on social media.
The agency claims that Knauf paid approximately $117 million to the Russian budget. After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the company officially made it clear that it saw no reason to leave the aggressor’s market.
Knauf also has existing facilities for the production of acoustic ceiling panels and suspension systems in the Special Economic Zone "Alabuga" (Tatarstan), on the territory of which the Russian production of the Shahed-136 UAVs is organized.
Earlier, the NACP listed the Swiss corporation Nestle as an international sponsor of war. The company continues to supply its products and expand its production base in Russia.
