On May 8, 2023, a missile attack on Odesa destroyed the warehouse of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society’s Odesa regional office, which had a total area of 1,000 square meters. The fire destroyed all of the humanitarian aid that had been stored in the warehouse.
The provision of humanitarian aid and the operations of some projects by the Odesa regional office of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society have been suspended for now.

Russian invaders shelled the facilities of the Red Cross in Odesa and Mykolaiv
Another missile attack in the Mykolaiv region on May 7, 2023, damaged a mobile hospital run by the Mykolaiv regional office of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. The missile strike rendered some of the medical equipment, devices, and furniture there unusable. Work is still underway to mitigate the results of the attack, and after it’s done, the hospital will resume its normal work in a different place.
