Third dose of coronavirus vaccine: Ministry of Health postpones revaccination for a year

He admitted that there is no reliable information about the need for its administration, there are only statements from pharmaceutical companies. Kuzin expects that updated data on the effectiveness of "boosters" will appear around the end of September. Thereafter, the MoH will begin to consider the revaccination strategy.

Context. In July, WHO opposed the "booster" vaccine. In August, the Organization noted the need for a moratorium on the use of additional doses of vaccines until at least September.

Meanwhile, Israel decided in mid-July to offer a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine to immunocompromised citizens. However, later, the country began to record cases of COVID-19 after the introduction of additional doses.
