According to Ukrinform, Russia is devising provocations that can occur on the dates that are "sacred" to them — February 23 and 24, 2023, said Yurii Ihnat, speaker of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Some possible provocations are being prepared. They may occur on February 23, which is also sacred for Russia as their Fatherland Defenders Day. And the next day is the anniversary of the invasion. Therefore, we can expect several waves of attacks on those days. We should also expect non-standard actions from the enemy, including a possible escalation," he said.
The officer added that the enemy’s tactics for using missiles have changed. The Russians have now started to launch missiles at night or launch only a few missiles. While the invaders earlier launched a massive missile attack once every two weeks, now they use missiles more frequently.
Context. Earlier, Defense Intelligence warned against comparing the current increased activity of Russian troops with the full-scale invasion of early 2022.
