The city and metropolitan area of Odesa suffered the most massive missile attack. At night, Russian aggressors struck Odesa with Oniks anti-ship missiles, while their strategic bombers launched Kh-59 and Kh-22 missiles. At the same time, the Russians launched Shahed-136 kamikaze drones targeting Ukraine’s south. Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

According to him, the primary targets for the Russian strike were seaports and critical infrastructure. Luckily, no one was killed.

One Kh-59 missile was shot down by air defense forces when approaching the coast and fell in a residential area in Odesa, creating a crater. A shockwave damaged a few surrounding buildings. Three civilians were injured.
