The thirty-first day of the Russia-Ukraine war 2022 continues. The preparation and movement of additional units of the Eastern Military District to the territory of Ukraine continues.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Volyn direction
The enemy does not conduct offensive actions. At the same time, the lead of units of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus from the permanent stations to the proving grounds is noted.
Polissia direction
The enemy continues shelling settlements, but does not conduct active offensive operations.
Siversk direction
The enemy did not conduct offensive actions. The invaders focused their main efforts on holding the previously occupied lines. They suffered losses and retreated in certain directions.
Slobozhanshchyna direction
The enemy holds the previously occupied lines, regroups and builds up forces for an offensive in certain directions. They continue shelling Kharkiv.
Donetsk direction
The Russian invaders focused their efforts on holding their positions and preparing for the offensive. When trying to advance, the enemy failed and suffered losses. The enemy continues to storm Mariupol, delivering air strikes and artillery shelling on civilian and military infrastructure. The Russian invader is trying to occupy the central part of the city.
The enemy continues to focus their main efforts on capturing the settlements of Popasna and Rubizhne and preparing for an offensive against Severodonetsk.
Near Avdiivka, Russian fascist troops stormed the settlement of Novobakhmutivka, but failed.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are repelling attempts to storm the settlement of Novomaiorske and offensives in the direction of the settlement of Krasnohorivka. The enemy failed, suffered significant losses and retreated.
Tauride direction
The enemy continues to take measures to enhance control over the occupied territories. They conduct filtration measures and make attempts to impose a strict administrative-police regime.
The main efforts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are focused on:
- defending Mykolaiv and preventing the enemy from advancing to Kryviy Rih and Zaporizhzhia;
- holding certain areas of the sea coast;
- protecting and defending critical infrastructure facilities;
- liberating the temporarily occupied territories.
Pivdennyi Buh direction
The enemy fortifies positions and conducts artillery shelling of individual units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Takes measures to restore combat capability and resupply.
"Probably, the invaders will not give up trying to conduct offensive operations, carrying out acts of sabotage, delivering missile and air strikes on important military and civilian infrastructure," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine says.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are also carrying out activities to defend seaports in the Black Sea Operational Zone
