Germany provided Ukraine with a new military support package. It included two launchers of the Patriot anti-aircraft system.
The package was announced by the German Defense Ministry.
It includes deliveries from the Federal Armed Forces, from industry, and assistance measures together with partners, which have, inter alia, been financed from Federal Government funds for security capacity building.
What weapons were delivered by Germany:
In addition to Patriot launchers, Ukraine obtained from Germany 6525 rounds of 155mm smoke ammunition, 10 tracked all-terrain vehicles Bandvagn 206 (BV206), five border protection vehicles; and four reconnaissance drones VECTOR.
Material for explosive ordnance disposal, more than a thousand binoculars, 20,000 safety glasses, six truck tractor trains 8x8 HX81 and five semi-trailers, two load-handling trucks 8x6 with containers, as well as 40,000 first aid kits.
Germany gave Ukraine its first Patriot air defense system on April 18.
