Andrii Matiukha on the foundation’s work and systemic charity.
Over the past few years, the Favbet Foundation charitable fund has undergone a transformation from a corporate initiative to a systemic project in the field of charity. 2024 became a year of scaling key projects, launching new programs, and strengthening international partnerships. 2025 only reinforces this pace.
«Now our activity has special significance. If we can change something — we change it. We have the resources, the team, the partners. That is why Favbet Foundation exists and works every day,» — emphasizes Andrii Matiukha, the founder of the foundation.
"Re:start": recovery of servicemen through technology and care
The foundation pays special attention to the rehabilitation of wounded servicemen. In partnership with the patronage service of the Special Operations Forces "Krevni", a unique project "Re:start" was launched in 2024, which combines innovative approaches, rehabilitation technologies, and humanitarian support.
Already now, in three medical institutions — Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital No. 2, the 75th rehabilitation hospital, and Dnipro City Clinical Hospital No. 4 — play areas with VR elements have been created, which have become part of both physical and psychological therapy. In 2025, the foundation plans to open new rehabilitation spaces.

"This project is about dignity. We want every defender to know: he has not been forgotten. That care for him does not end on the battlefield," — says the founder of the foundation.
Children’s initiatives: sports, education, and opportunities
As the founder of the Favbet Foundation Andrii Matiukha says, the foundation continues to support the development of children and youth. Within the framework of the "Superheroes Club" program in 2024, hundreds of children from military families and IDPs attended sports sections for free — boxing, wrestling, football, and basketball. In 2025, volleyball and table tennis are planned to be added.
The foundation also supports local initiatives — for example, the Table Tennis Federation of Mariupol, which not only organizes training but also represents the region in national tournaments.
2024 was rich in children’s sports events. In April, the Desnianskyi district school basketball league of Kyiv took place, in July — FAVBET FOUNDATION SUMMER CUP, and in December — the winter spartakiad SpartaBox.
An equally important direction is education. In partnership with Code Club Ukraine, more than 780 children completed the Scratch course in late spring 2024, creating their own digital projects on the topic "The Future of My Country."

"Our task is to give children access to quality sports and education. They must dream, grow, and realize their potential despite all circumstances," — emphasizes Matiukha.
International aid: Croatia — Ukraine
In partnership with the Croatian organization Dobro Dobrim, the foundation organized the delivery of more than 80 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine in 2024. The shipments included food, medicines, bandaging materials, equipment for hospitals, and technological aid for the military. The aid was directed, in particular, to Kharkiv region and frontline regions.
Favbet Foundation also pays attention to Ukrainian families abroad. In the spring of 2024, a large-scale family sports festival was held in Zagreb, gathering more than 1,200 participants. In the summer, a pottery workshop was organized for children, and in the winter — a celebration for St. Nicholas Day.
"Ukrainian children, even abroad, must feel support and a connection with their homeland. We try to do everything possible so that this feeling does not disappear," — says Matiukha.

This year, Favbet Foundation is not slowing down. Plans include further expansion of the "Re:start" project, opening new children’s sections, new educational initiatives, and continued humanitarian aid from Europe.
A separate direction of 2025 became the preparation of the Ukrainian sports community for action in critical situations. In the first two months of the year, the foundation supported the organization of first aid training, which has already been completed by 212 representatives of 7 Olympic sports — coaches, athletes, and sports infrastructure workers. By the end of the year, at least 1,600 more participants are expected to be involved.
"We do not stop. Every day is an opportunity to do something useful. And we do not miss these opportunities," — summarizes Andrii Matiukha.
