"The Russian terrorists once again targeted ports, grain, and global food security. All our emergency services performed effectively. The world has to react. When civilian ports become targets, when terrorists deliberately destroy even grain elevators, this is a threat to everyone on all continents. Russia must and can be stopped," President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the Russian terrorist attack.

Journalist Denys Kazanskyi noted that the Russians keep waging war against Ukrainian grain.

"Russia keeps waging war against the grain. This night, they targeted grain elevators in Izmail. Notably, these are the same people who claim that there was no man-made famine in the 1930s," Kazanskyi wrote.
