The Ministry of Health has decided on a list of professions the vaccination against coronavirus is mandatory for. The Ministry of Health approved the corresponding list by its order No. 2153 of October 4 and registered it in the Ministry of Justice on October 7. The change will come into force in a month from the date of its publication.
The list includes:
- central executive authorities and their territorial bodies;
- local state administrations and their divisions;
- educational institutions (this includes preschool, school, out-of-school institutions, institutions of professional, professional before higher, higher, and specialized education, as well as scientific institutions of all types and forms of ownership).
Employees who are on the list but refuse to be vaccinated will be suspended from work without pay. Personnel of organizations from the list with medical exemption are not subject to compulsory vaccination.
Context. At the end of September, the Head of the Ministry of Health Viktor Lyashko said at a briefing that compulsory vaccination against COVID-19 would be introduced in Ukraine in the near future.
