Turkey has canceled PCR: what is now needed to enter the country

Turkey has canceled the submission of a mandatory negative PCR test to enter the country for citizens of 17 states, including Ukraine.

This is reported by Turprofi with reference to the data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.

What do the tourists need to know before flying to Turkey from Ukraine

According to the press service of the Boryspil airport, the requirement to fill in a special form before departure (where you need to indicate your passport details, flight and place of residence in the country) remains in force.

After you fill in the data, the system generates a Hes-code that must be presented in hotels, catering places, shopping centers, and transport. With the help of the Hes-code, the authorities control whether a person has had contact with a patient with COVID-19 and informs the tourist if this happened.

In addition, 72 hours before departure, tourists must print out the completed application form or download it to a smartphone or tablet and show it to the airline employee at the airport of departure.

Context. Earlier, Turkey introduced a strict lockdown due to the increase in the number of COVID-19 diseases until May 17, 2021. At the same time, restrictions will not affect foreigners temporarily staying in the country.
