The battles with the Russian Federation have reached maximum intensity, the enemy is storming the positions of Ukrainian troops simultaneously in several directions. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Maliar, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"The situation remains difficult and shows signs of further escalation. The enemy uses all their forces and means to capture our territory and cordon off our troops. The battles today have reached their maximum intensity, the enemy is storming the positions of our troops simultaneously in several directions. An extremely difficult and lengthy stage of struggle awaits us ahead, and we must understand that this is a war and, unfortunately, losses on our part are inevitable," Maliar said.
She noted that the aggressor is shelling the entire line of contact and in the depths of the Ukrainian troops’ defense in the Donetsk operational area, using tactical missile systems, aircraft, and artillery.
