In the last 24 hours, as of May 18, the defenders of Ukraine destroyed 16 enemy tanks, 8 artillery systems, 1 aircraft, and 5 UAVs. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total battle casualties of the enemy from 24.02 to 18.05 approximately amounted to:
- personnel — 28,300 (+400);
- tanks — 1,235 (+16);
- APV — 3,009 (+34);
- artillery systems — 586 (+8);
- MLRS — 199 (+1);
- Anti-aircraft warfare systems — 91 (+1);
- aircraft — 202 (+1);
- helicopters — 167;
- UAV operational-tactical level — 441 (+5);
- cruise missiles — 102 (+5);
- warships/boats — 13;
- vehicles and fuel tanks — 2,137 (+28);
- special equipment — 43.
According to the General Staff, the heaviest losses of the enemy were reported (in the last 24 hours) in the Sloviansk, Kryvyi Rih, and Zaporizhzhia directions.
