In the last 24 hours, as of May 17, the defenders of Ukraine destroyed 7 enemy tanks, 1 artillery system, 2 attack helicopters, and 9 UAVs. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total battle casualties of the enemy from 24.02 to 17.05 approximately amounted to:
- personnel — about 27,900 (+200);
- tanks — 1,235 (+7);
- APV — 3,009 (+35);
- artillery systems — 578 (+1);
- MLRS — 198 (+3);
- Anti-aircraft warfare systems — 90 (+1);
- aircraft — 201 (+1);
- helicopters — 167 (+2);
- UAV operational-tactical level — 436 (+9);
- cruise missiles — 97 (+0);
- warships/boats — 13 (+0);
- vehicles and fuel tanks — 2109 (+8);
- special equipment — 43 (+1).
According to the General Staff, the heaviest losses of the enemy (in the last 24 hours) were reported in the Lyman and Zaporizhzhia directions.
