The Chinese Communist Party's expertise in governing the state is worth adopting—Arakhamia

The party Servant of the People considers the PRC an important strategic partner for the country and intends to learn from the experience of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in managing the economy and state-building. Head of the Servant of the People political council David Arakhamia stated this in an interview with the Chinese media, Xinhua news agency reports.

He stressed that the principles of the ruling parties of Ukraine and China coincide in many respects, since their motto is serving the people. Arakhamia noted that the CCP is represented in every locality of the country and that this experience must certainly be adopted.

Ukraine also hopes to learn from China's positive experience in economic development. According to him, Kyiv highly appreciates the opportunity to participate in the Chinese initiative Belt and Road that enhances the transit potential of Ukraine. It also sees great promise in cooperation with China in the field of education, tourism and culture.

Additionally. Ukraine and China signed an intergovernmental agreement on June 30 to implement joint projects in the field of infrastructure construction. Information about this appeared on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers on July 6.

The agreement provides for the allocation of credit funds by China on preferential terms. What exactly will be built for credit money, the parties agreed to discuss in more detail later.

The Associated Press reported that shortly before the signing of the agreement (June 24), Ukraine withdrew its signature calling for a more thorough investigation of human rights violations in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Prior to that, Kyiv had affixed its signature together with four dozen countries.
