Earlier, Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar wrote on Telegram that the village of Piatykhatky had been liberated.

Quote"During the two weeks of offensive operations on the Berdiansk and Melitopol axes, units of the Tavria Operational Strategic Force liberated eight settlements: Novodarivka, Levadne, Storozheve, Makarivka, Blahodatne, Lobkove, Neskuchne, and Piatykhatky. In general, our units advanced up to 7 kilometers deep into the enemy lines in the Taurida direction. The liberated territory in the south is 113 square kilometers," she wrote, adding that the Defense Forces continue active operations in the Taurida direction.

According to Maliar, although Russian forces continued offensive operations in the Lyman-Kupiansk, Avdiivka, and Marinka axes last week, Ukrainian forces hadn’t lost a single meter there.

The deputy defense minister also added that offensive operations in the south on several axes had continued last week.

The Institute for the Study of War suggested that Ukrainian forces might be temporarily pausing counteroffensive operations.
