Adaptive quarantine will last until August: Shmyhal has laid out conditions for its ending

The government is going to extend adaptive quarantine in Ukraine until August. Now it is in force until June 30th.

Provided that the majority of people can be vaccinated by Independence Day, the government will look for options to relax it. Denys Shmyhal told about this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

In addition, he recalls that the adaptive quarantine model will automatically introduce restrictions if the incidence of coronavirus begins to increase. If the situation is stable, then the country lives in a "green" quarantine zone.

"Therefore, whether there will be new lockdowns or not depends on discipline, vaccination and how this pandemic progresses in the world in general, whether new strains will not appear or not. These are the main indicators, I think there are no other indicators that will affect the adaptive quarantine model."
