Adaptive quarantine: the Cabinet of Ministers has expanded restrictions in the "red" zone

The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the list of quarantine restrictions in the "red" zone. The restrictions will apply to passenger transport.

From now on, in regions with a high level of epidemic danger, regular and irregular transporting passengers is prohibited. This is stated in the message of the Telegram channel Coronavirus Info.

However, the restrictions will not apply to transit transport and transporting by light vehicles, if the number of persons does not exceed five, excluding children.

In addition, the restrictions do not apply to transporting passengers by official or rented vehicles within the limits of the number of seats and subject to informing the National Police.

It is also allowed to transport passengers on special railway transports in domestic traffic, agreed with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Infrastructure, and to transport passengers on special railway transports in suburban traffic, in agreement with the Regional State Administration.

In general, in the "red" zone, in addition to the restrictions set in all zones, the following activities are also prohibited:

  • public transportation;
  • visiting educational institutions;
  • visiting cultural institutions, cinemas;
  • activities of shopping and entertainment centers, cafes, and restaurants;
  • visiting establishments of trade and consumer public services.

Context. On February 24, Ukraine returned to adaptive quarantine. It will last until at least April 30, 2021.
