The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russia hasn’t given up on trying to seize the Donetsk region within its administrative boundaries. Its main efforts are focused on the offensive in the direction of Bakhmut. Unsuccessful attacks were also made in the Avdiivka direction.
The threat of air and missile strikes by the Russian Federation on civilian objects remains high throughout Ukraine.
"Having achieved no significant success on the battlefield, the enemy is striking peaceful cities and villages. The Russian aggressor keeps destroying the infrastructure and homes of civilians—violating the norms of international humanitarian law and the law of war," the report says.
Within 24 hours, the enemy launched four missile attacks, of which two were against a civilian target in the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. The enemy also made 13 air strikes and shelled the city 23 times using multiple-launch rocket systems.
At the same time, the Russian occupation army is trying to deprive the civilians who live in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region of access to alternative sources of information. Along with stopping the broadcasting of all Ukrainian TV channels, the invaders made mobile communications available only from Russian providers.
According to the available information, the Russian invaders are intensifying the search for their deserters in the temporarily occupied territories. Under the pretext of searching for Ukrainian saboteurs, the invaders carry out raids on populated areas of the Kherson region.
