New Year's holidays and quarantine restrictions, that lasted almost the entire January, plunged sales of new cars in Ukraine by 14.36%.

The new car sales swings are going down again. If in December Ukrainians bought 9548 cars, then in January 2021—only 5753. Compared to January 2020 (6957 sales), the collapse was 17.3%.

However, even in such an unfavorable situation, the leaders retained their positions. Toyota, which became the leader in the world, managed to sell the most cars in our market—984 autos. This is noticeably more than the runner-up Renault with 728 sales. First of all, due to the victory in the battle of Toyota RAV4 and Renault Duster SUVs.

Although Kia Sportage remained the third most popular car among the models, Koreans still lag behind Skoda in the ranking of sales among brands and the gap between them is growing. The situation can only be improved by the successful sales of the sedan and SUV Rio and Rio X presented today.
