Ukraine to receive $1.1 billion and €912 million in financial aid from partners in November 2023

In November 2023, Ukraine will receive $1.1 billion and €912 million in financial aid from international partners. This includes $260 million in grant money for budget support, a $1.1 billion loan from the IBRD, €322 million for the restoration of Ukraine, and €590 million for transnational cooperation programs. This was announced by Member of Parliament Danylo Hetmantsev.

Financial aid from international partners to be provided to Ukraine in November 2023

  • $260 million in grant money for budget support from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association. $190 million of the total amount will be given by Norway and $70 million by Switzerland. This is the sixth additional funding for the Support for State Expenditure project;
  • A $1.1 billion loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. This is also part of the funding for the Support for State Expenditure project;
  • €590 million in funding scheduled until 2027 as part of five cross-border and transnational cooperation programs (Interreg NEXT Poland—Ukraine, Interreg NEXT Hungary—Slovakia—Romania—Ukraine, Interreg NEXT Romania—Ukraine, Interreg NEXT the Black Sea basin, and the Danube Regional Interreg program);
  • €322 million for Ukraine restoration programs. This includes €162 million from the European Investment Bank and €162 million from the Japanese government.
