Twitter has verified the account of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea: Ukraine demands for the third time to delete it

Twitter has verified the Russian account of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea. The company does not respond to the comments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, so the Ministry has turned to the social network for the third time with a request to remove the verification mark.

The MFA urged Twitter to delete the account. First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Emine Dzhappar reported this on Twitter.

She noted that it is unacceptable to give to the so-called Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Ukrainian Crimea a verification check mark. After all, the international community, including most of the UN member states, declare that Crimea is Ukraine.

In particular, the Ukrainian segment of the social network reacted to such a call from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for example, #TwitterSupportsTerorrism and #CrimeaIsUkraine appeared in the top of hashtags.

It is worth noting that the invaders created a Twitter page back in March 2015.
