The president of terrorist Russia, Vladimir Putin, is considering a protracted war of attrition. This was reported by Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
"The concept of the so-called "special military operation", which is actually a brutal invasion of Ukraine’s territory, is as follows: Putin has planned for it to be quick. And all the enemy's forces and means, and in general the plan of the so-called "special military operation"—these were a plan of a quick war, a plan to seize Ukraine. They failed to achieve this," Andrii Yusov said.
Yusov also noted that there was no long-term war of attrition in Putin’s plans before, but the last months have demonstrated the need for Russia to switch to a wartime economy and force Russian society to get used to the idea that the war will be a long one.
According to Yusov, the Russians are now mobilizing all reserves and means as their military budgets have skyrocketed.
Context. Military trucks carrying enemy personnel started arriving in Mariupol. Another 750 troops and 15 train cars with Russian military equipment arrived in Belarus.
