The United States is to announce a new $1.3 billion package of security assistance for Ukraine in the coming day. Reuters reported this, citing American officials.
The United States plans to provide Ukraine with counter-air defenses made by L3Harris Technologies, Phoenix Ghost drones, and ammunition.
"Additionally, a person briefed on the matter said Ukraine will get a significant number of counter-drone systems made by Australia's DroneShield Ltd (DRO.AX) alongside radars, sensors, and analysis systems," the report says.
Washington may announce the security assistance package during the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group.
