The Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies will introduce a "red" level of epidemic danger if 65% of beds with oxygen are occupied.
The government has a strategy that provides general anti-epidemic rules in the country. Also, depending on the change in the situation in a particular region, local restrictions will be introduced. This was announced by the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov.
If, for example, the burden on the medical system increases at a rate that can lead to the collapse of the system, then a "red" hazard level will be introduced in the region. In particular, such restrictions will be introduced if the number of hospitalized people increases by 50% within seven days.
Now 66,848 beds have been given for the treatment of patients with coronavirus, of these more than 56,000 have access to oxygen.
Context. The government will extend quarantine until at least May 2021. However, it will probably not be canceled after that date.
