The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine has launched a platform to raise money for the restoration of Ukrainian cultural heritage damaged by Ukraine.
The project was named Save Ukrainian Culture.
The platform collects information about all the cultural sights destroyed by the invaders, the scale of damage, and the amount of money needed to restore them.
"Since February 24, 2022, 469 objects of cultural heritage have been damaged or destroyed by the troops of the Russian Federation. The losses have already amounted to hundreds of millions of hryvnias," the Ministry said.
Everyone concerned can join the fundraising campaign and help restore the cultural heritage.
"All funds are collected on a special account opened by the Ministry with the National Bank and will be used to preserve, evacuate, protect, and maintain cultural treasures as well as to support the work of cultural and artistic institutions that suffered due to hostilities," the message says.
Context. A Brave Hryvnia charitable campaign will be held in Ukraine to raise money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
