Foreigners will be able to start businesses in Ukraine and pay taxes online. The Cabinet of Ministers has already adopted the relevant resolution, according to the announcement made by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
"Foreigners from various countries will soon be able to register their businesses and pay taxes to the Ukrainian budget. There will be no need to visit Ukraine to get residency," the message says.
The Cabinet’s new resolution will allow foreigners:
- to get and cancel an e-residency;
- to ensure privacy protection and strict control by the tax service and banks;
- do the paperwork without visiting Ukraine.
The timing for the launch of the service hasn’t been announced yet. The information system should be developed and tested before it can be started.
