Termination of flights for three years: the Cabinet of Ministers has imposed sanctions against 13 Russian airlines

The Cabinet of Ministers has imposed sanctions against 13 Russian airlines. They concern the companies flying over the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and Sevastopol.

The National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) must consider proposals to impose sanctions for a period of three years within a month. They provide for a complete termination of the transit of resources, flights, and transportation through the territory of Ukraine.

Ukraine has imposed sanctions against the following companies:

  • Vologda Aviation Enterprise;
  • KrasAvia;
  • Komiaviatrans;
  • Azimuth Airlines;
  • Iraero Airlines;
  • Aviaservice;
  • Tulpar Air Airline;
  • Aerolimousine;
  • State Airline 223 Flight Squad of the RF Ministry of Defense;
  • Pobeda Airlines;
  • Aviation Technologies Investment Service (Aviatis);
  • State Air Traffic Management Corporation of the Russian Federation;
  • Simargl Airline.
