Spain will open to Ukrainians from July 27: MFA has laid out conditions

In accordance with the EU Council recommendations, Spain will open to citizens of Ukraine from July 27.

"Visa-free regime returns," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba wrote.

Entry into Spain will be allowed if persons over 12 years of age are provided with one of the following documents:

  • certificate of complete vaccination;
  • diagnostic certificate (negative PCR test result obtained 72 hours before entry or negative rapid test result obtained 48 hours before entry);
  • a certificate of recovery.

Spain recognizes vaccination made both with drugs approved in the European Union and those registered by WHO.

The state of complete vaccination begins 14 days after the date of the last inoculation.

All passengers, including children, arriving in Spain by air or sea transport, including for the purpose of transit to other countries, must fill out a health control form in advance. This can be done on the portal of the Spanish Ministry of Health or by downloading the Spain Travel Health mobile application -SpTH- to your phone. The obtained QR code must be presented to the representatives of the carrier company before boarding, as well as to the sanitary control services at the checkpoint upon arrival in Spain.

Additionally. Earlier, Kuleba said that France has opened an entry for Ukrainians.

Chief Sanitary Doctor Ihor Kuzin expressed confidence that the country will return to the "red" quarantine zone. This is due to the spread of new strains of coronavirus.
