Una Hajdari, a 2018 Elizabeth Neuffer Fellow from Prishtina, Kosovo, has written a 800-word op-ed published by The New York Times on July 24, titled "The risks of radical renewal in Ukraine."
The article seeks to put the victory of Volodymyr Zelensky and his Servant of the People Party in perspective, explaining what Ukraine has gone through since Russia invaded the country five years ago.
Hajdari is cautious about Ukraine's prosepects under Zelensky, judging by the conclusion of her op-ed.
The year 2014 was a year of revolution; 2019 is a year of radical renewal, less violent but no less sweeping. The expectations — and the risks — today are almost as great as they were back then.
