Ukraine to launch public monitoring of tap water quality

The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) will conduct public monitoring of water quality.

This was stated by the head of the department Oleksiy Danylov at a briefing after the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council in Kramatorsk, the Interfax-Ukraine agency reports. According to him, each community must understand the situation with water quality.

"Today everyone understands that what we consume is our health. There will be public monitoring of the system, and all residents of certain territories will understand what kind of water the local government supplies where there is a centralized water supply."
