Ukraine ’s Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) has summoned businessman Viktor Pinchuk in for questioning. The son-in-law of ex-President Leonid Kuchma is as a witness in the so-called "black ledger " case involving Party of Regions.
Pinchuk is scheduled to be questioned on August 27 at 11:00 by agents of the PGO’s special investigations department. The PGO says he is a witness in the criminal proceedings of August 19, 2016.
A source of the Kyiv-based Interfax-Ukraine news agency said Pinchuk will be asked about the so-called "black ledger " used by officials to make off-the-books payments to cronies of disgraced former President Viktor Yanukovych, who fled Ukraine to Russia in early 2014.
Specialized Anti-corruption Prosecutor ’s Office (SAPO) head Nazar Kholodnytsky in 2016 said about 100 witnesses would be questioned in the case.
