The Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting has determined that those working in the aviation industry receive the highest salaries in Ukraine, in healthcare—the lowest. Igor Burakovsky, Head of the Board of the institution, clarifies that the first and second pilots of civil aviation earn the best.
During the broadcast of the TV channel Ukraine 24, he clarified that it was impossible to conduct a thorough and accurate analysis based on the data of the State Statistics Service alone. To do this, it is necessary to take into account the inflation rate and data on how many people receive one or another salary.
Additionally. According to the State Statistics Service, the average salary in Ukraine amounted to 14,200 UAH in September. According to the job search portal Work.ua, this figure is 14,500 UAH (the average median salary is calculated based on the data of 227,500 vacancies posted on the site over the past 3 months).
The ranking of the highest paid vacancies is topped by IT specialists. For instance, C ++ developer and Ruby on Rails developer can count on 70,000 UAH per month, Net programmer— 62,600 UAH, database programmer—62,500 UAH, Java developer—60,000 UAH. Sales managers, sales consultants, drivers, administrators, cooks, and accountants are in the lead in terms of the number of vacancies.
Context. The Centre for Economic Strategy stated in September that Ukraine was losing its labor force on a massive scale. According to the estimates, there is a personnel gap in many regions. This creates conditions for the arrival of workers from other countries, where the economic situation is even worse than Ukraine.
