A new assistance option for entrepreneurs is available at the Diia government portal. Now individual entrepreneurs can receive UAH 6,500 for the first and second months after hiring an internally displaced person (IDP). The criteria and instructions for receiving the aid are given below.
Which entrepreneurs are eligible for the 6,500 UAH?
According to Mykhailo Fedorov, the Minister of Digital Transformation, the compensation will be provided to the entrepreneurs who:
- hired an IDP after February 24, 2002, provided that the person obtained the IDP status also after February 24;
- have been paying at least a minimal salary to the displaced person;
- have been paying the unified contribution for compulsory state social insurance;
- have filed their tax reports for the 4th quarter of 2021.
Receiving 6,500 UAH for entrepreneurs via Diia
In order to receive the compensation for hired displaced persons:
- register or sign in to your account at diia.gov.ua using your electronic signature;
- select the period to be compensated and enter the information on the employed displaced citizen after the portal locates you in the list of the Pension Fund beneficiaries;
- enter the settlement account data for the funds transfer; after this, the portal will generate your application;
- sign the completed application with your electronic signature. It will then be submitted to the State Employment Center (applications are processed within 1 day);
- subsequently, receive the funds to pay for the IDP remuneration to the indicated settlement account.
As the compensation covers the first two months after the internally displaced persons are hired, you may re-submit the application if necessary.
