The seventy-fifth day of the Ukrainian people's resistance to the military invasion of Russia continues. In the last 24 hours, air defense and ground forces units hit 10 air targets of the invaders: 6 Orlan-10 type UAVs, 1 Forpost-type UAV, and three cruise missiles.
The enemy continues a full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine, without stopping offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone to gain full control over the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and maintain a land corridor between these territories and the occupied Crimea, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The invaders are most active in the Slobozhanshchyna and Donetsk directions. However, there remains a high probability of delivering missile strikes across the whole territory of Ukraine.
Slobozhanshchyna direction
The enemy did not conduct active offensive operations. They focus on regrouping units, replenishing ammunition and fuel, keeping previously occupied positions, and preventing the advance of units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the direction of the state border.
Izium direction
The invader units from the 1st Tank Army, the 20th Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District and the 29th, 35th, 36th Armies, the 68th Army Corps of the Eastern Military District, and the airborne troops are focusing their main efforts on preparing to continue the offensive in the directions of Sulyhivka — Nova Dmytrivka and Sulyhivka — Kurulka.
To prevent the advance of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy has concentrated 19 battalion tactical groups on the territory of Russia in the Belgorod region. The redeployment of personnel and military equipment continues to replenish the units that have suffered significant losses on the territory of Ukraine.
Donetsk direction
The enemies, with the support of aviation and artillery, focused their main efforts on an attempt to gain control over the settlements of Rubizhne and Popasna, preparing for to continue offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Siversk, Sloviansk, Lysychansk, and Avdiivka. They increased firepower, trying to break through the defenses of our troops.
Tauride direction
The enemy is carrying out demonstrative actions in order to constrain the Ukrainian troops and is improving the logistical support system.
Pivdennyi Buh direction
The enemy did not conduct active military operations. They focused on shelling the positions of our troops using artillery, including multiple rocket launchers.
On the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, cases of seizure of personal documents from the local population without valid reasons were reported. The documents will be returned subject to the participation of the locals in the celebrations on the occasion of Victory Day.
Volyn, Polissia, and Siversk directions
There were no signs of formation of offensive groupings by the enemy. The subdivisions of the Republic of Belarus continue to carry out missions to reinforce the protection of a section of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.
In the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the enemy was actively preparing for solemn parades.
The situation in the Transnistrian region of Moldova is unchanged. Local armed formations and units of the task force of the Russian troops continue to be in full combat readiness.
On the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the defenders of Ukraine in the last 24 hours successfully repelled 6 enemy attacks, destroyed 20 tanks, 1 artillery system, 28 armored vehicles, one armored vehicle, and 5 vehicles of the enemy.
