The sixty-ninth day of the Russia-Ukraine war 2022 continues. As a result of the effective actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, units of the 38th separate motorized rifle brigade of the RF Armed Forces lost up to 60% of their personnel ( dead and wounded).
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Volyn, Polissia, and Siversk directions
The units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are reinforcing the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in the Brest and Gomel regions. An enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group has been exposed near the Khmelivka settlement in the Sumy region.
Slobozhanshchyna direction
The enemy deployed the following units:
- grouping from the 6th Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District;
- 41st Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District;
- coastal troops of the Baltic and Northern fleets.
The enemy continues to deliver air strikes and shell the city of Kharkiv from artillery.
Near Izium, the Russian invaders are advancing along the Izium-Barvinkove directions. The following units participate in these offensives:
- separate units from the 1st Tank Army;
- separate units of the 20th Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District;
- separate units of the 29th, 35th, and 36th combined arms army;
- separate units of the 68th Army Corps of the Eastern Military District and airborne troops.
The Russian fascists redeployed a battery of heavy self-propelled mortars Tyulpan with a caliber of 240 mm and a unit of the MLRS Smerch from the territory of the Belgorod region to the area near the city of Izium. In the occupied territories of the Kharkiv region, the enemy continues to carry out filtration measures. For this, units of the National Guard are additionally involved.
Donetsk and Tauride directions
The grouping of enemy troops are conducting offensive operations, delivering air strikes and artillery shelling of positions of our troops. The following units of the invaders participate in the offensive:
- separate units of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps;
- separate units of the 8th and 58th Combined Arms Armies of the Southern Military District;
- separate units of the 5th Combined Arms Army and the Pacific Fleet of the Eastern Military District;
- separate units of the 2nd and 41st Combined Arms Armies;
- separate units of the 90th Tank Division of the Central Military District and airborne troops.
The enemy continues to focus their main efforts on the Lyman, Severodonetsk, Popasna, Avdiivka, and Kurakhove directions. The aim is to gain full control over the settlements of Rubizhne, Popasna, and also to develop attacks on Lyman, Siversk, and Sloviansk.
The enemy continues to deploy depots with ammunition, fuel and lubricants. They organized a site for repairing and restoring damaged equipment. On separate lines, the enemy is fortifying the second line of defense.
In Mariupol, the enemy continues to block the units of our troops near the Azovstal plant. They shell the territory of the metallurgical plant with artillery and tanks. The enemy is carrying out demonstrative actions and maneuvers to interdict units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to prevent their redeployment to other directions.
Pivdennyi Buh direction
The enemy is conducting combat operations in order to improve the tactical situation, continues shelling of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They are regrouping troops, building up firepower, air defense, and logistics. Forces involved in this direction:
- 8th and 49th Combined Arms Armies;
- 22nd Army Corps of coastal troops of the Black Sea Fleet of the Southern Military District and airborne troops.
Transnistrian region of Moldova
The situation is difficult. The subdivisions of the operational group of Russian troops are in full combat readiness. The armed formations of the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova are on heavy security. The officers of the invaders are preparing to evacuate their families.
Water zone of the Black and Azov seas
The ships of the Black Sea Fleet continue to deliver missile strikes against civilian infrastructure facilities on the territory of Ukraine. They are also isolating the combat area, conducting reconnaissance and fire support in the coastal direction.
